NJBankers Charitable Foundation: Making a Difference in NJ Communities
The New Jersey Bankers Charitable Foundation recently awarded grants to two New Jersey-based nonprofits. Our foundation is a reflection of the great work our member banks are doing to help build stronger, more vibrant communities across the state.
The first grant was awarded to The Center for Great Expectations, an agency focused on breaking the cycle of abuse, homelessness, and substance use by providing comprehensive, dignified care to pregnant and parenting women who are economically marginalized, homeless, and dealing with mental health or substance use disorders.
The second grant was awarded to The Salvation Army New Jersey Division to support Operation Red Shield, an initiative designed to address the financial, social and emotional needs of local veterans. The program provides a multi-layered support system that combines financial stabilization, case management, community engagement, and wellness opportunities.
