Last week, NJBankers held our annual Banking on Women Conference at The Palace at Somerset Park, an inspiring day attended by nearly 300 bankers and business professionals from across New Jersey.

Veronica Ross of Kearny Bank Recognized as Woman of Impact
During our Banking on Women Conference, Veronica Ross of Kearny Bank was honored with NJBankers Woman of Impact Award, given annually to an NJBankers member committed to the advancement of women in the banking industry, and whose leadership has created positive change.
Veronica is Senior Vice President and Director of Engagement at Kearny Bank, where she provides strategic leadership for initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, enhance workplace culture, and advance organizational performance. She also leads Kearny Bank ChangeMakers, the Bank’s women in business program, where she champions educational opportunities, strategic support, and meaningful networking designed to foster the growth and success of women-owned businesses.
Her leadership extends outside the bank, where she volunteers with numerous community organizations, including St. John the Baptist Church in Hillsdale, NCJW of Essex County Back 2 School, Executive Women of New Jersey, and the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey.

Food Truck to Fight Hunger Coming to Trenton June 25
On June 25 from 12:00-4:00pm NJBankers will be hosting a food truck outside the New Jersey State House in Trenton.
We will match all food truck sales made during that time to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, furthering our work with this vital organization that supports children, families and seniors across the state. If you are in the area, please stop by.
