Last week, NJBankers own Jenn Zorn was honored as one of the 2026 NJBIZ Leaders in Finance. As our Executive Vice President, Jenn is an instrumental part of the NJBankers team. She was recognized for her outstanding leadership, driving our professional development initiatives and empowering bankers at every level as they grow their careers and build the skills needed for their institutions to succeed. Her dedication helps strengthen banks and the communities they serve across New Jersey.

NJBankers Teaches Children to Save on
Take Your Child to Work Day
In April, NJBankers was excited to participate in the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance's Take Your Child to Work Day Program, teaching financial literacy to the over 50 children in attendance.
Using the American Bankers Association Foundation's Teach Children to Save Program, Andrea Ganzman and Brittany Wheeler spoke to participants about the importance of saving for a rainy day. They also decorated their own coin boxes with savings goals and played some Finance Go Fish and Financial Bingo.

Last week, NJBankers President & CEO Mike Affuso moderated the panel discussion "Structuring Success: Real Deals, Real Capital," hosted by NAIOP New Jersey. The discussion focused on first-hand perspectives of how real estate development and investment transactions are getting done right now. Participants discussed trends in lending, shifts in capital markets, finding investors, the role of social media in business growth, and more.
