Moira Forbes to speak at June 4th Banking on Women Conference
NJBankers Banking on Women Conference is two weeks from today! We're excited to hear from our dynamic line-up of speakers, which includes Moira Forbes, Executive Vice President of Forbes and President and Publisher of ForbesWomen.
Moira will discuss the common elements of successful women in leadership who are setting the agenda in today's world. Want a sneak peek? Moira recently sat down with NJBankers President & CEO Mike Affuso for The New Jersey Banker Podcast. Listen here.
The annual event is set to be an empowering and uplifting day attended by bankers and business leaders from across the state. In addition to hearing from Moira Forbes, attendees will: engage in a transformative "energy experience” and learn how to reinvent themselves as a leader; learn how to dismantle barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential, and discover new methods to mentor successfully.

NJBankers Members Meet with Regulators during D.C. Visit
Last week, NJBankers hosted our Regulatory Visit to Washington, D.C., where our members met with senior leaders from the OCC, FDIC, FinCEN, and the Federal Reserve to discuss key policy priorities impacting our industry.
We were especially honored to hear directly from Acting FDIC Chairman Travis Hill (shown here), who addressed topics such as creating a stronger pipeline for DeNovo bank formation, modernizing deposit insurance for business accounts, and embracing innovations in digital assets. Thank you to all who joined us in representing the strength and leadership of New Jersey’s banking community at the national level.
