The New Jersey Bankers Association has named Michael P. Affuso, Esq., to succeed the retiring John E. McWeeney, Jr., as president and CEO. McWeeney will continue to serve as president and CEO until his retirement on June 30. Affuso will officially assume the role on July 1. Join us in congratulating Mike!

NJBankers Board of Directors Approves a New Slate of Officers
During last week’s NJBankers Board of Directors meeting, a new slate of officers was approved. At our Annual Conference in Florida this May, Chris D. Maher President/CEO of OceanFirst Bank will be sworn in as the new Chair. Additionally, Steven M. Klein, Chair/President/CEO of Northfield Bank will be sworn in as First Vice-Chair, and Patrick L. Ryan, President/CEO of Frist Bank will be sworn in as Second Vice-Chair. Congratulations to our new officers and thank you to our outgoing officers. We appreciate your wiliness to serve and contribute to the continuous growth of NJBankers.
