A Day of Love & Compassion to Fight Food Insecurity in NJ
On February 14, volunteers from our member banks joined us for a Day of Love & Compassion to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and its affiliates across the state.
More than 100 bankers volunteered their time preparing meals, packing boxes with food, and more. A special thank you to the banks that participated: Blue Foundry Bank, Columbia Bank, Flagstar Bank, First Bank, Kearny Bank, Manasquan Bank, OceanFirst Bank, Spencer Savings Bank, and Valley Bank.
This effort is part of NJBankers’ One Million Meals Campaign, which to date, has raised nearly 900,000 meals for children, families and seniors in New Jersey. To learn how you can help us bring our campaign home strong and reach our goal of 1 Million Meals, click here.

February 23: NJBankers is continuously assessing the needs of our members and our industry. Today's Committee Spotlight is on our newest committee, which just launched last month: Retail Banking.
The Retail Banking Committee is responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail banking administration. Key focus areas include branch staffing, customer service, automation, new product and service development, and the regulatory and legislative impacts on retail banking. The committee also assists in developing seminars for retail bankers and loan officers.
